IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FOREIGN COUNTERPARTS/TRAVELLERS
1) Visa is required to visit India
➢ Normal visa can be applied through Indian Embassy, Indian High Commission, Indian Consulate in your country.
➢ E Visa can be applied through website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html it is applicable to specific countries – It covers most of the countries. List of countries is available in this link with other important information.
➢ 30 Day E Visa can be applied between one month and upto 5 days before arrival into India. It is valid for 30 Day from the date of arrival as granted within the above period. For 30 Days e-tourist visa it must be applied at least 20 days before the date of arrival in India.
➢ One year E Visa can be applied as per your travel schedule.
2) Please recheck that your passport must be valid for six months beyond your entry date into India.
3) Foreign travellers to India including OCI card holders will have the option to complete the Disembarkation Card till the system stabilizes or maximum of six months from 01 Oct, 2025.
➢ Physically upon arrival or
➢ Digitally up to 72 hours prior to arrival in India via the official Indian visa website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival/
➢ “Indian Visa Su-Swagatam” mobile app
➢ Above is not required by Indian Nationals.
➢ Carry copy of the form submitted / acknowledgement.
E-Tourist Visa Online Application Process
• STEP 1: Apply Online / Upload Photo & Passport Page
• STEP 2: Pay VISA Fee Online (Using Credit /Debit Card)
• STEP 3: ETA (e-Visa) will be sent to yout email. Take a print out
• STEP 4: Fly to INDIA. Submit the ETA print out at VISA ON ARRIVAL Counter in INDIA
