For a truly memorable experience, you may choose to ride an elephant up to the fort’s entrance, just as the royals once did. Next, stop by the enchanting Jal Mahal, a palace gracefully set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake – a perfect spot for photography.
Continue to the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), built in 1799 with its unique honeycomb façade of 953 small windows, designed for the royal ladies to observe the city’s processions unseen.
