Detailed Itinerary

Recommended Itinerary:

  • Day: 1- Arrival at Delhi and overnight train to Corbett national park

    Upon arrival at Delhi in the early hours, you will be transferred to the hotel. Later enjoy sightseeing of Old and New Delhi. Delhi, the capital city of India has always attracted people towards it. It was the desired destination for many of the kings from different parts of the world. The city has a very rich and 5000 years old history. It was made the capital of the nation by the British. Delhi has been ruled by different kinds of rulers that belong to different regions and thus follow their own traditions. This is the reason that the capital city of India has a vast variety of traditions and the culture with a different faith in every nook and corner of the city. New Delhi has been acting as host of different types of cultural programmers and this attracts more tourists towards this charming city. Later in the evening after dinner transfer to the railway station to board the overnight train. Board your overnight train to Corbett national park.

  • Day: 2- Arrival Corbett national park and jungle safari

    Upon arrival at Delhi in the early hours, you will be transferred to the hotel. Later you will leave for afternoon safari by open Jeep. Corbett National Park is spread over 520 square kilometers sheltering a healthy population of tigers and rare species like Otters and the endemic fish eating crocodile, the national park is one of the most sought after destinations for the wildlife lovers. The Corbett National Park is very rich in wildlife, the major animals found in Corbett Park like Tiger, leopard, elephant, spotted deer, sambar, nilgai, hog deer, barking deer, sloth bear, wild boar, ghural, langur and rhesus monkey. There are more than 600 species and subspecies of birds are found, the major birds are Peacock, pheasant, pigeon, owl, hornbill, barbet, lark, myna, magpie, minivet, Patridge, thrush, tit, nuthatch, wagtail, sunbird, bunting, oriole, kingfisher, drongo, dove, woodpecker, a place that offers tranquil and duck, teal, eagle, stork, cormorant, falcon, bulbul, and many others. The most found reptiles are Indian marsh crocodile or mugger, gharial, king cobra, common krait, cobra, Russel’s viper, python and monitor lizard. The fishes found here are golden mahseer fish and Goonch Catfish. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day: 3- Travel to Dwarahat (Drive)

    After having breakfast at the hotel, we drive to reach Dwarahat. After lunch, we shall be visiting the ancient temple. Dwarahat situated at an altitude of 1510 meters. Dwarahat is a small settlement nestled in the Himalaya with some of the ancient temples. “Dwara” Means “Way” And ‘Hat” Means “Heaven”. Dwarhat is amazing views to not only ancient temples but also to the wide and sprawling nature that besieges it. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day: 4- Travel to Kund (Drive)

    After having breakfast we drive to our Lodge at Kund. Today we drive into the other region of Uttarakhand called Garhwal. Garhwal is famous for its Rivers and Pilgrimage. Every year millions of people come here to visit the holy places of Uttarakhand. Upon arrival, transfer to beautiful lodge.

  • Day: 5- Travel to Deoriatal (Drive/Trek)

    After having breakfast at the hotel, we drive to the starting point of our trek. From here we walk to Deoriatal which will take 4-5 hrs. Deoriatal is an emerald lake perched at an average altitude of 2438m. This lake situated amidst a lush green inclined field surrounded by dense trees. The lake is known for its wide 300° panorama. Mountains like Chaukhamba (7135 meters), Nilkantha (6596 meters), Bandarpunch (6316 meters), Kedar Range, Kalanag (6318 meters), etc. can be viewed from here. Enjoy your overnight stay at the camp.

  • Day: 6- Travel to Chopta (Trek)

    After having breakfast we start the trek to Chopta. While walking along the ascending trails we can feel the fragrance of mixed forests which include oak trees and pine as well. The trail is sprinkled with little shrines that stand out in the greenness by the red and yellow flags tied on them. After crossing a clearing in the forest-lined with scarlet blossoms, we are directly ushered up an ascending path towards Rohini Bugyal and Chopta. The ascending trail gives way to the level of land and some leeway in the rigorous uphill hike. A resplendent view of the Chandrashila awaits on the other side of the forest margin. After the level-land, you will have to re-enter the forest now characterized with old oaks and maple beside the rhododendrons. This forms part of the Kedarnath Sanctuary, and with some luck, trekkers can spot red fox and other small wild things. Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area which is a part of Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state and a base for trekking to Chopta is an unspoiled natural destination lying in the lap of the Uttarakhand Himalayas and offers views of the imposing Himalayan range including Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Chaukhamba. It is located at an elevation of 2,680 meters above sea level. Chopta village is surrounded by forests of pine, deodar, and rhododendron and is rich in flora and fauna include rare species of birds and musk deer. Enjoy your overnight stay at the camp.

  • Day: 7- Chopta – Chandrashilla – Kund (Trek/ Drive)

    After breakfast we start our walk to Tungnath which is only 3.5 km from our camp. Tungnath is the highest temple of Lord Shiva in the world. Temple is closed during winters but during pilgrim season it is full with the devotees. After spending some time at the Temple we walk another 1.5 km to the point called Chandarshilla which is the highest point of the region and our trek as well. From here one can have the beautiful panoramic 360 views of the high mountains and valley. We enjoy our time here and later we trace our footprints back to our Camp. After reaching Chopta we drive to our Lodge at Kund. Enjoy your overnight stay at the lodge.

  • Day: 8- Travel to Kaudiyala (Drive)

    After having leisurely breakfast we drive nearly to our Rafting camp at Kaudiyala. Today the drive is very interesting as we drive along the river Mandakini which is coming from the famous temple of Kedarnath. At Rudraprayag river Mandakini confluence with Alaknanda River. We continue our drive along with Alaknanda river till Devprayag which is small pilgrimage township from here two holy river (Alaknanda ad Bhagirati) come together and generate Holiest river Ganges. From here we drive along river Ganges and come to our Rafting camp at Kaudiyala. Enjoy your overnight stay at the rafting camp.

  • Day: 9- Kaudiyala – Rafting – Rishikesh (Raft/Drive)

    After breakfast we start our rafting which ends in Rishikesh. Later in the evening we shall be visiting Triveni ghat for the Ganges prayer. Rishikesh located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, it is known as the ‘Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas and ‘Yoga Capital of the World and has numerous yoga centers that attract tourists. It is believed that meditation in Rishikesh brings one closer to attainment of moksha. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day: 11 – Haridwar – Morning train – Agra

    We make an early check-out from the hotel to board the train to Delhi. We will be carrying our pack breakfast. Upon arrival in Delhi we drive directly to Agra. Upon arrival directly transfer to the hotel for comfortable overnight stay.

  • Day: 12 – Full day Agra sightseeing

    Agra is home to the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. The construction of Taj Mahal is credited to the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan who erected this mausoleum in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Besides Taj Mahal there are many interesting sights in Agra and Agra Fort is one of them. Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Agra, India. The Fort built by Akbar in Red Sandstone in 1654, Agra Fort worked both as a military strategic point as well as the royal residence. In the morning we will be visiting Taj Mahal and later after lunch we visit Red Fort. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day: 13 – Travel to Ranthambore via Fatehpur Sikri (Drive)

    After breakfast we check-out from hotel and then drive one hour to a place called Fatehpur Sikri which was a city, founded in 1569 by the Emperor Akbar, and served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585. Here he commenced the construction of a planned walled city, which took the next fifteen years in the planning. He named the city Fatehabad, with Fateh, a word of Arabic origin in Persian, meaning victorious. It was later called Fatehpur Sikri. The Imperial complex was abandoned in 1585, shortly after its completion, due to the exhaustion of the small, spring-fed lake that supplied the city with water. Later we drive to Ranthambore. Upon arrival transfer to resort for comfortable overnight stay.

  • Day: 14 – Ranthambore (Morning and afternoon safari)

    After having early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will again leave for Ranthambore National Park to do morning jungle safari for tiger sighting as well as to have closer look at the natural habitat of various other wild animals. Later after having lunch, you will leave for afternoon jungle safari in a jeep. You will have to submit your identification documents, as you will enter this national park for tiger sighting and spotting various wild animals like hyena, sambar, wild boar, leopard, deer and many more. Return to the forest lodge for overnight stay.

  • Day: 15 – Travel to Jaipur and sightseeing

    Have breakfast at the hotel, then our company representative will transfer you to the car as we drive for Pink city of India – Jaipur. The visit starts from Amber Fort that is also known as Amer Fort, which is located 11 km away from the main city of Jaipur. It is situated high on a hill and was built in the year 1592 AD by Raja Man Singh I. You can also enjoy elephant ride to climb this fort and get a wonderful panoramic view of the whole Jaipur City. Then you will go to visit Hawa Mahal that is also called as “Palace of Winds” and was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. The structure of this monument is like a beehive and comprises of 953 small windows. Then you will visit City Palace that is a huge complex that consists of buildings, beautiful gardens, courtyards, and other magnificent structures. It was made in between 1729 and 17332 with the initiation of the rule of Ajmer, Sawai Jai Singh II. After visiting this famous tourist attraction, you will go to explore Albert Hall Museum situated in the Ram Niwas Garden in Jaipur and is the oldest museum in the state of Rajasthan. You will also visit Jal Mahal, which is located in a lake and attracts large number of tourists every year. In the evening, you are free for independent activities like shopping as Jaipur is famous for traditional gemstone jewelry and other handicrafts. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day: 16 – Travel to Delhi and Departure

    Have breakfast at the hotel then you will be transferred to the car as you will leave for Delhi. On arrival, you will be dropped at Delhi airport to board your flight for next destination/home.
