Itinerary

Arrive in Delhi, India’s vibrant capital city where ancient monuments, colorful streets and modern city life come together beautifully. On arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

 

The remainder of the day is kept free to relax after your international flight. Depending on arrival time, guests may enjoy a short walk around the nearby market or simply unwind at the hotel before beginning the journey.

After breakfast, begin exploring the fascinating contrasts of Delhi.

Start with the historic lanes of Old Delhi and visit the grand Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques and an excellent example of Mughal architecture. Continue to bustling Chandni Chowk where you enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride through colorful spice markets, jewellery shops and lively street scenes.Visit Raj Ghat, the peaceful memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.

 

Later explore the beautiful Mughal-era Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO site and architectural inspiration for the Taj Mahal. Continue to the magnificent Qutub Minar. Drive through New Delhi passing the grand avenues of India Gate, Parliament House and the Presidential Estate.

Today explore charming Shimla on foot. Walk along The Ridge, Shimla’s open promenade with mountain views and lively local atmosphere. Continue on Mall Road, filled with cafés, bakeries, souvenir shops and colonial-era buildings.

 

Visit the iconic Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India. Later drive or walk to Jakhoo Temple located on Shimla’s highest hill, offering spectacular Himalayan views. Evening free for shopping or enjoying sunset over the hills.

After breakfast take a scenic drive to Kufri.

Kufri is known for beautiful Himalayan landscapes and fresh mountain air. Visit the Himalayan Nature Park and enjoy views of forested valleys and snow peaks in season. Stop at Green Valley, a popular viewpoint perfect for photographs.

Guests may also enjoy optional horse riding or light outdoor activities. Return to Shimla.
